		   Doesn’t everyone go to heaven?
Unfortunately, no. This may sound harsh, but it is true. Man didn’t make up this rule --God did. The Father in Heaven isn’t concerned with being politically correct; He is concerned with bringing each and every human being into a right relationship with Him through His Son Jesus.
God has provided a very specific plan, and a clear explanation of this plan through His Word, the Bible. God would love to have everyone join Him in Heaven, but in order to gain entrance to eternal rest with God in Heaven, we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We need to repent of our sin, and confess that Jesus is Lord of our life.
God is very clear that there are no other gods above Him and no other paths to eternity. In fact, Christianity is the only religion that promises salvation from sin and eternity in Heaven with God.
God the Father, one third of the Trinity, is very clear that Jesus the Son of God, the second part of the Trinity, provided the sacrifice for mankind necessary to receive relationship with God.
The Holy Spirit, the third part of the Trinity, guides us and comforts us as we remain on earth, awaiting heaven. Every part of our spiritual walk includes the three parts of the Trinity, and each part points us to Heaven. God is all about consistency. Because of that, no other “path” or life outside of relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ, can lead to Heaven.
